Week 9
Working with Data (Editing, Analysis & Browser GIS)
Master how to read, filter, calculate, and sort through the tabular spreadsheets and relational databases attached to your spatial assets, and how to edit data layers in ArcGIS Pro. Then explore GeoLibre — a free, open-source, cloud-native GIS in your browser — to load and inspect the same kinds of datasets with no desktop install, and see how modern teams pair traditional GIS with lightweight, shareable maps and cloud-native formats.
Week 10
Automated Spatial Analysis
Run automated processing tools (developed by GeoRAD) to calculate proximity buffers, execute spatial queries, and extract clean statistics from complex layers.
Week 11
Earth from Space (Satellite Analytics)
Import satellite imagery and run pixel-band calculations (NDVI) to automatically graph and track environmental changes over time.
Week 12
The Graduation Capstone & Exam
Compile your data assets, interactive charts, and styled layouts into a high-quality spatial project or executive presentation and write your graduation exam.
Graduation & Internship Requirements
To maintain the high standards of GeoRAD Academy and qualify for your verified certificate and the subsequent free 3-month optional internship, you must meet the following criteria:
80% Live Class Attendance
You must attend at least 10 out of the 12 live, 1-on-1 weekend mentorship sessions.
Weekly Assignment Completion
Every week's practical workflow task must be completed and submitted to your mentor for professional review.
Final Professional Assessment
Pass the comprehensive final project review and executive presentation exam at Week 12.
