From the Founder's Desk
The Founder has spent over a decade operating deeply within the commercial geospatial software ecosystem while maintaining a strict commitment to academic rigor through international scientific publications. As a deep-tech leader, he has co-founded elite geospatial software platforms, co-authored cutting-edge research papers, and personally mentored over 50 young professionals and postgraduate students worldwide.
Through this journey, he learned that true innovation happens when the rigorous logic of academic research meets the execution speed of a commercial software lab. To prove this, he and his co-founder built the GeoRAD Research Lab. By bringing together brilliant technical minds with advanced academic training, they launched over three proprietary software platforms live in less than two years.
However, while building these platforms and mentoring younger professionals, he noticed two critical gaps holding the community back:
Global organizations desperately search for modern spatial engineers who can code, build data pipelines, and automate workflows. Yet, traditional training programs still trap professionals in slow, manual desktop software clicks. This leaves young professionals frustrated, stagnant, and struggling to stay globally competitive.
Many postgraduate students pursuing research in environmental remote sensing and GIS get completely stuck on their thesis design, methodology, and technical implementation. They rely on traditional workflows that break down when processing deep, live research datasets. Because of this, the demand for direct, hands-on support kept surging.

Standard education paths are simply failing to teach these real-world skills. To fix this, he and his co-founder unified seasoned experts from the GeoRAD Research Lab under a single mission. GeoRAD Academy was born to completely move away from abstract theory and open their production-grade workflows to the next generation of geospatial leaders.
To deliver on this vision, GeoRAD Academy is driven by a world-class core leadership team that bridges international academic excellence with high-stakes industrial execution. The founding team brings deep, specialized expertise to the academy, featuring advanced research degrees from premier institutions in Germany and the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, the team holds extensive field experience directing spatial data strategies across both the private sector and major multinational organizations, including the United Nations (UN), UNICEF, and The World Bank. By combining this high-caliber global framework with active production lab workflows, they ensure that every curriculum, framework, and research advisory programme meets strict, world-class standards.
